"The War Toolbox"
Resources for teachers, librarians, and other groups
THE WAR, a seven-part series directed and produced by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, premieres on PBS September 23, 2007. THE WAR tells the story of the Second World War through personal accounts of men and women from four American towns, one of them Sacramento, California. Libraries throughout California will host community programs, encourage further reading and discussion, and facilitate the sharing of oral histories.
The resources here will help libraries create The War related programs. We will continually be adding resources to the page so please check back often!
