With major assistance from the Water Education Foundation, California Center for the Book has developed resources to help public libraries host programming about the often-controversial issues involving water in our state.

THE WAR tells the story of the Second World War through personal accounts of men and women from four American towns, one of them Sacramento, California. The California Center for the Book presents "The War Toolbox", which will help teachers, librarians, and other groups create "The War" programs.
